Managing Cyber Risk Across your Extended Vendor Ecosystem

To support these facts, BlueVoyant commissioned its second annual survey on the matter. They surveyed 1,200 CIOs, CISOs, and CPOs (Chief Procurement Officers) responsible for supply chain and cyber risk management in larger organizations worldwide.

Here’s just a few of their key Findings:

• 93% of companies have suffered a cybersecurity breach because of weaknesses in their supply chain/third-party vendors
• 97% of companies have been negatively impacted by a cybersecurity breach that occurred in their supply chain
• The average number of breaches experienced in the last 12 months grew moderately since last year (from 2.7 to 3.7), a 37% year-over-year increase.
